A30 closed after serious crash
ONE person has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries and
two others hurt following a two-car crash on one of Cornwall's busiest

roads.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the westbound
carriageway of the A30 at Two Bridges, Lewannick, near Launceston,
after the crash at 12.53pm.
The crash, which took place at the Plusha crossing, has forced
closure of the A30 to Lewannick on the westbound carriageway. Traffic
is being diverted at Kennards House onto the A395.
The road is expected to be closed for some hours and police are urging motorists to avoid this area if possible.
