A38 traffic diverted after cars overturn
Two cars ended up on their roofs following a crash on a major road in Devon yesterday afternoon. Emergency services were called to the southbound carriageway of the A38 just before the Buckfastleigh turn-off at 2.55pm. The vehicles landed in one lane of the road. By the time help arrived everyone in the cars was out with no reports of any injuries. Firefighters administered first-aid and dealt with the wreckage. Meanwhile, police diverted drivers at the Pear Tree junction along the old A38 and back on at the Dartbridge junction.
