Cape Cornwall School in St Just, St Ives School and Mousehole County Primary are all set to shut on Thursday October 17.
All three are taking part, alongside many others across the county, in a protest led by the National Union of Teachers and the National Association of Schoolmasters’ Union of Women Teachers.
So far 27 secondary and primary schools in Cornwall have stated they are set to either partially or fully close.
Cornwall Council has said more are likely to be added to the list in the coming days.
We will report if any more from the west Cornwall area announce closures.
As well as the South West, teachers from the North East, Cumbria, London and the South East are all involved in a dispute against proposed changes by education secretary Michael Gove to the pay system, working conditions and pensions.
