MEMBERS of Cury Hunt got a taste of how hard it is to sound a hunting horn at their annual horn-blowing.

The Lizard hunt gathered to compete for a variety of titles.

Our picture shows just how hard it is as joint huntmaster and huntsman Adam Tiffin gives it a go.

Secretary of the supporters' group Alison Pascoe said: "The competition is even harder because we eat a two-course meal first.

"It is a difficult and complicated job to sound the horn and everyone did really well."

The professional class was won by Joseph Curnow of Lambo Beagles, while amateur winner Ted Blake, women's winner Lisa Johns and junior winner Zara Courtald were all Cury Hunt members.

Whip-cracking and hollering competitions were also held, with Zara's brother Ralf winning the junior whip-cracking title.
