Alcohol ban for man, 36
POLICE called to the Market Place in Penzance late in the evening of December 22 found Timothy Courtney so drunk he could hardly stand but he was lashing out at people.
Courtney, 36, of Wesley Street, Penzance, admitted at Truro Magistrates' Court that he was drunk and disorderly. He had nothing to say to the magistrates.
He had previous convictions for drink-related offences and one for assaulting a police officer.
He was fined £70 and £15 victim surcharge and given a 12-month drink banning order not to be in a public place under the influence of alcohol.
