Alopecia support group
A WOMAN who has been affected by the hair-loss illness alopecia since the age of five is hosting a support group.
Michelle Chapman, who runs the UK Alopecia Awareness Charity, hopes the hear from others who have experienced hair loss.
Her 12-year campaign to raise awareness of the condition has seen her design her own range of wigs and appear on various TV programmes.
The 40-year-old from Plympton has recently been travelling the country working with alopecia and cancer patients and teaming up with support groups in Newcastle and Wales.
