Annear has sympathy for ex Truro boss Reynolds
DENNIS Annear has spoken of his surprise following Anthony Reynolds' shock decision to stand down as Truro City's second team manager at the weekend.
Reynolds resigned after watching his side lose 5-1 to Annear's Porthleven on Saturday.
Speaking to West Briton Sport this week Reynolds revealed that it wasn't the result that prompted him to leave City, but comments made by Truro chairman Peter Masters via twitter after the game on Saturday evening.
Masters tweeted: "massive disappointment today with our second team #notgood."

Truro had won their previous four games before their defeat at Gala Parc.
And Annear admitted he was disappointed to see Reynolds part company with the Treyew Road club.
He said: "It wasn't as if Truro were going through a bad spell. They'd won their last four games in the league and were doing really well.
"I've known Anthony for a long time and hopefully it's not too long before we see him back in the game again."
