Appeal for witnesses after lay-by accident
A 21-year-old man was seriously injured in a car crash on Sunday.
A Honda Civic was travelling on the B3254 near Bude on Sunday when it collided with an unattended Toyota Landcruiser parked in a lay-by at Launcells, near the A3072, at about 11.35am.
The driver of the Honda, from Launceston, sustained serious head and chest injuries and was flown to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth by air ambulance and admitted to intensive care.
A specialist forensic investigation of the scene was conducted by police and the road was closed for around six hours. Police are appealing for information.
