Armoured cable stolen from Newquay construction site
MORE THAN 300 kgs of armoured cable, measuring 150 metres, has been stolen from the Duchy of Cornwall's construction site at Tregunnel Hill, Newquay.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place between Saturday November 3 and Monday November 5.
Officers believe the vehicle used to transport the stolen cable would have been parked on the Gannel Link Road, around 100 metres from Mountwise Roundabout.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious at this time or has any information is asked to call the non-emergency number 101 quoting crime ref GN/12/2520.
