Arrest over alleged New Year's Eve assault at Camborne
A MAN has been arrested following an alleged serious assault in Camborne shortly before midnight on New Year's Eve.
The incident was said to have happened on a footpath as the victim was crossing Wesley Street to access Tesco car park.

He was punched to the floor by a white male with blonde hair who, prior to the attack, had been seen shouting abuse as he walked along Wesley Street, police said.

The victim sustained serious injuries as a result of the assault
Police are now appealing for witnesses and anyone with any information is asked to contact Detective Constable Parker at Camborne police station on 101 quoting crime reference AC/13/1.
A man has been released on bail until March 1.
