Arson suspected at fire in St Austell flats
ARSON is suspected following a fire in a 12-storey block of flats in St Austell.
Firefighters from St Austell and St Dennis were scrambled to Park House, Bridge Road, yesterday at 9.40pm.

They had received calls of a fire alarm sounding and the smell of burning on the top floor.
The fire crews, who attended alongside an aerial platform from Truro, arrived at the scene and discovered a paper fire in the rubbish chute was already out.

Arson is suspected and the police have been informed.
Now the fire service is warning firebugs that arson puts the public and firefighters at "unnecessary risk".
