AUTHOR Richard Pierce will be at the Spencer Thorn Bookshop, Bude, on Monday, March 15, between 3.30pm and 5pm to sign copies of his new book Pirates of Devon and Cornwall.

Meanwhile a pirate party will be held at the Inn On The Green, Crooklets, Bude, on Thursday, March 18, to launch the book.

Proceeds will be donated to charity.
