BBC wildlife filmakers take Lostwithiel audience on a journey into the wilderness
THE LATEST fundraiser for the Lostwithiel Skate Park Project brought a slice of adventure in exotic locations to the town as guests were treated to 'A Wild Life behind the Lens'.
On Tuesday, January 29, wildlife filmmakers and photographers, Ian McCarthy and local resident Mark Yates, spoke about their lives in the wild, beautifully illustrated with film clips.
The pair have worked in some of the most remote places on Earth filming for all manner of acclaimed shows such as Life In The Freezer, Andes To Amazon, Deep Jungle, Blue Planet, Life in Cold Blood, Springwatch, Autumnwatch and most recently the visually stunning, Frozen Planet.
The award-winning film-makers took the audience through their personal experiences and adventures as part of the renowned BBC Natural History Unit for the past 27 years.
