Barefoot Media's campaign for lambing live at The Olde House scooped Silver in the Consumer Relations category at the 2012 CIPR Pride Awards.

Barefoot Media's Jim Michell said: "We are thrilled to have picked up an award for this campaign which was focussed on boosting business for The Olde House at a traditionally quiet time of year for self-catering holidays.

"Entered in the Consumer Relations category, the campaign secured a raft of national coverage for the client, and this had a direct impact on booking enquiries with occupancy levels in winter months up by over 50%."

The Olde House offer self-catering holiday guests the chance to experience lambing live on the farm. Coverage was secured in the travel pages of the Daily Express, The Sunday Times, BBC Countryfile magazine and the Mail Online.

The birth of the farm's first quadruplet lambs in 20 years generated further coverage in regional news media, the Metro and on BBC and ITV news programmes.

This is the third consecutive year that Barefoot Media have enjoyed success at the CIPR Pride awards, winning two golds in 2011 and one gold in 2010.

Barefoot Media is also shortlisted for a Media Innovation Award alongside Liminal Design for their collaborative work to create new branding for Padstow chef Paul Ainsworth. The winners will be announced on Wednesday 14 November.
