Barnstaple guitar group on a worldwide hunt for twins
Family relationships are nothing new in the music business but a guitar group in Devon believes it may be the only band in the country to boast three sets of twins – and they are all from the same school
The North Devon Guitar Ensemble is now on a mission to find another musical group containing multiple sets of twins, that they could possibly "twin" with themselves.
The six musicians all attend Park School in Barnstaple and are excited to see if they can find more sets of twins who play the guitar together. The 26-member group is one of very few remaining classical guitar ensembles around.
Musical director Des Miles said: "We want to search the globe to find another group with as many sets of twins as we have.

"We are even hoping that if we find one, we can twin with them."
Lucy and Sophie Hawkins, 14, are identical twins and have been taught to play the guitar by Des since they were eight years old.
Lucy said: "We took up the guitar together, and have always practised together since then."
Sophie added: "We always do duets together."
Twins Maia and Fin Dart, 13, usually play individually, rather than in a pair.
Maia said: "I started playing first, and the Fin took it up a couple of years later."
Fin said his sister played the guitar and that was the main reason he took it up. "We don't play together too often though, but we both really enjoy it." The third set of twins Hayley and Nicole Williams, 14, have been playing for almost 10 years, and jokingly said playing guitar together was the only time they spoke.
Des wants anyone who knows of any guitar ensembles or orchestras who may be able to help them to email him at email@example.com.
The group will be performing in the Young Guitarists Fund's Christmas Concert, on December 6, at the Holy Trinity Church in Barnstaple.
