Ben Howard "looking forward" to performing at Greenaway Pro
BEN Howard is “looking forward” to performing in Cornwall tonight as the headline act of a charity surf competition and music festival.
The musician tweeted his excitement to perform at the Greenaway Pro to over 300,000 followers and announced it will be his last show for a while.
The international music star will go on stage at at the Sandsifter, Godrevy from 7pm tonight.
He said: “looking forward to the @GreenawayPro in Cornwall on Saturday! Our last show for a little while and all for a great cause. Stagetime is 7pm x”
Rumours suggest that the double Brit award winner is returning to the studio to record a follow up to his hit album ‘Every Kingdom’ released in 2011.
The Greenaway Pro was set up in memory of surfer and lifeguard Tom Greenaway. To date, the event has raised over £11,000 for local charities and good causes since it began in 2009.
After a two-year hiatus this year’s event is billed as the biggest yet and has attracted entries into its surf competition from all over.
