Benefit fraud allegations
FACING three allegations of benefit fraud involving an alleged sum of £37,000 a Madron man had his case adjourned to Truro Crown Court on September 20 when he appeared at Truro Magistrates' Court.
Christopher Charles Sindall, 54, of Trelawney Road, Madron, entered no pleas in relation to the offences alleged to have taken place between 2009-2013 at Penzance.
The charges involve jobseekers' allowance, housing benefit and council tax benefit, alleging his failure to disclose the true extent of his savings.
