A LARGE crowd turned out to support North Cornwall Hunt's traditional Boxing Day meet in Camelford.

The town's main street was crammed with 53 horse riders and onlookers who literally stopped the traffic.

The hunt gathered outside the Darlington Inn where they were provided with liquid refreshment before moving through the town and on to Bodmin Moor.

“I know, I almost choked with the nostalgia of it all. And they "literally" stopped the traffic. That must have been fun if you're just out doing non-killing things and some arrogant bunch of toffs block the road. And the crowds! It's like Ben Hur - I can see, er, none in this picture. Hunt on!
ps Did the charming retinue of gurning terrierists and car followers partake of liquid refreshment too? Good job there's no breathalysers out in wild west on a Boxing Day eh?”

“Wow! What an exciting report!! Have these people nothing better to do on Boxing Day?”
