Jane is club's new chief
SHE'S a tiny lady with a big job in Cornish rugby.
Wadebridge woman Jane Latus, 65, who stands at just over 5ft tall, is the new president of the Cornish All Blacks, who start their season with an away match at Cambridge against Shelford on Saturday.
Jane has been a longstanding supporter of the county side and the Cornish All Blacks, first with her late husband Barrie Latus who died more than two years ago and with whom she travelled to both home and away games.
Jane has been a volunteer at the club's Polson Bridge ground, welcoming supporters and collecting the entrance money at the gate.
Jane takes over as president from Barrie Boundy. Long-term supporter of Launceston Rugby Club, Dame Margaret Fry, said: "I'm absolutely delighted they have elected Jane."
