Bishop Tim of Truro to bless deaf centre in Camborne
Camborne Deaf Centre which was refurbished thanks to community support is being blessed by the Bishop of Truro.
The Right Reverend Tim Thornton is conducting the ceremony on Sunday at midday followed by a community roast dinner and harvest auction.
Jackie Goldie, secretary at the centre, which won a Community Spirit of the Year Award for the project, said Reverend Debbie Harvey, herself deaf, runs a church group at the building.
At 2.30pm Reverend Harvey will be hosting the harvest auction, with food and gift items donated by local people and businesses to raise funds for the centre.

Tomorrow (FRI 20) the centre is hosting parent and baby sign classes from 1o.30am to 11.30am. The cost is £4 includes refreshments.
