Bodmin moved eight points clear at the top of the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League premier division on Wednesday night following an emphatic victory over struggling Falmouth at Priory Park.
Darren Gilbert's side were 3-0 up before half-time thanks to goals from Adam Carter (penalty, 4 minutes), Chris Luxton (9) and Lewis Reed (34) and added three more in the second half through Neil Slateford (72) and substitute Luke Doddridge (70 and 81).
Falmouth had a couple of good chances in the second half, which fell to Glen Squires and Mark Hollands, but their shots from inside the penalty area were weak and didn't trouble goalkeeper Kevin Miller.
