Bodmin on cloud nine after cup stroll
Falmouth Town 0, Bodmin Town 9
CORNWALL Senior Cup holders Bodmin Town cruised into the third round of the competition with an emphatic victory against a depleted Falmouth Town side at Bickland Park on Saturday.
Falmouth were without no fewer than 12 first-team regulars, and just 11 available against the premier division champions.
Darren Gilbert's men took full advantage of Town's predicament, leading 4-0 at the break, before adding another five in the second half.

They led after five minutes when Olly Brokenshire acrobatically turned the ball past Jason Chapman after Chris Luxton's effort had been parried by the Town goalkeeper.
After Glynn Hobbs had hit the underside of the bar after nine minutes the striker did manage to find the net after 18 minutes when he skillfully nicked the ball past Chapman.
Falmouth conceded a third goal in the 27th minute as Steve Colwell curled a brilliant effort into the far right of Chapman's goal.
And the Town goalkeeper was beaten again in the 38th minute when Hobbs' low effort trickled into the bottom corner.
Sam Matthews then got his name on the scoresheet after 51 minutes with a close range finish, before Luxton slid home Bodmin's sixth goal after 59 minutes.
A frustrating afternoon for Town was summed up by Bodmin's seventh goal, as Falmouth defender Jamie Webb turned substitute Luke Doddridge's cross into his own net.
The impressive Doddridge then waltzed his way into the Falmouth box to make it 8-0 and substitute Adam Carter completed the rout in the 85th minute with a superb lofted effort into the top corner.
