The routine has been put together by the club's demonstration team, consisting of skills that each pet dog has to know in order to pass the various levels of the awards, from puppy up to gold level. Handlers and dogs will also be keeping in step to music while performing the routine.

Bodmin Dog Training was set up to provide owners with a service to deal with adult dogs and puppies that needed pet dog training. During the past five years, the club has run The Kennel Club's Good Citizens' Dog Scheme, which aims to promote a happy partnership between dog and owner.

Dog trainer Tom Herron, who set up the Bodmin club, said: "We are very proud to be involved with the Kennel Club in promoting this scheme.

"For the past two years, we have achieved an annual award from the Kennel Club for the Best Listed Status Club category which covers the whole country. We gained third place in 2010 and first place in 2011."

Mr Herron said two young club members and their pets were due to audition for the CBBC series Who Let The Dogs Out.
