Bodmin back on the road
BODMIN Town are back on the road on Saturday, facing Penryn Athletic in the Westinsure Cornwall Senior Cup quarter-final (2.30), writes Kevin Marriott.
Darren Gilbert's men, who have won the competition for the last two seasons, are certainly being sent around the county in their bid to complete a hat-trick.
They have already had away ties against Launceston, to the far east of Cornwall, and St Just, the furthest west based senior team in the county.
Now it's Penryn, who are fifth in the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League division one west.
Gilbert said: "We know what to expect down there. Everybody wants to beat the cup holders, as we found at St Just in the last round.
"But if we prepare properly for the match we should be able to progress to the semi-final."
Elsewhere on Saturday, last season's runners-up St Austell travel to Liskeard, while Saltash United host Falmouth Town. Truro City are at home to Porthleven in the other quarter-final.
