Bond gold for Eden on 007's grand tour
The Eden Project – whose iconic biomes provided a stunning backdrop in Die Another Day – has been honoured for its starring role in the James Bond film series, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
To mark the anniversary, a golden briefcase containing the first copy of the Bond 50 Blu-ray collection is travelling the UK visiting some of the most memorable locations used in the films.
It set off on the seven-day journey in an Aston Martin DBS, which featured in Quantum of Solace, from Eilean Donan Castle in the Scottish Highlands, which doubled as British Secret Service headquarters in The World is Not Enough.
Since then it has travelled by helicopter, train and on foot, stopping off at the Eden Project, which doubled as villain Gustav Graves' diamond mine in Die Another Day in 2002, and Stoke Park, the scene of 1964's classic golfing encounter between Bond and Auric Goldfinger. Each location is being presented with a commemorative gold disc celebrating their part in 007's 50-year movie history.

Along the way, the case has been carried by several 007 icons including Bond actresses Shirley Eaton and Tania Mallet and classic villain Richard Kiel, who played Jaws in two of the films. The journey ends in London today when Britt Ekland and Mr Kiel deliver it to the HMV store on Oxford Street.
