Boost for Reds with more signings
REDRUTH returned to pre-season training on Tuesday boosted by the news they have retained another seven players ahead of the new National League Two South season.
Backs Craig Bonds, Tom Notman, Jack Churcher and Paul Thirlby have all re-signed, along with forwards Tom Duncan, Chris Fuca and Craig Williams.
Last month it was announced that 17 players had already agreed to play for the Reds under new head coach Adrian Edwards.
More are expected to follow over the coming weeks. Edwards said: "We've got another half a dozen or so now. I'm really pleased when you see the players that have signed.

"People like Chris Fuca and Craig Bonds are the backbone of the club. We've also got a lot of young players that are coming through are signing as well."
Important
Edwards still hopes to add one or two more from outside the club having missed out on former Cornish Pirates Rhodri McAtee and Ceiron Thomas. "I think that will be important," said Edwards. "We've missed out on one or two but that doesn't mean we have not been trying.
"It is always difficult because a lot of people are after the same players.
"We will continue to push and that will go on as long as we can. The turn-out so far has been very good and we have a lot of good players already. I'm happy with what we've got but, if we can get another one or two, that would be great."
