CORNWALL'S romantics are being urged to share their hearts with the birds this Valentine's Day.

A range of nest boxes and natural roosting pouches is being launched at garden centres across the county to help mark National Nest Box Week, which runs from Tuesday.

The event, organised by the British Trust For Ornithology charity, is aimed at encouraging people to create homes for the wild birds found in many gardens.

The collection of boxes will be on sale at Trago Mills, Falmouth.
