Boy, 4, seriously hurt after car overturns

A four-year-old boy remains in a serious condition in hospital after suffering head injuries in a crash at the weekend.

The boy, who is being treated at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, suffered what police described as "life threatening injuries" after the blue Honda Jazz he was travelling in overturned on the A3072 at Launcells, between Bude and Holsworthy, on Saturday lunchtime.

The 32-year-old woman driver suffered back injuries in the smash.
