Bramley and Russet are the last two barns on a new development set in a secluded South Hams valley just several miles from the sea.
The charm of Orchard Coombe Barns at Slapton in the South Hams are such that there are only two properties on this development remaining for sale. The seven barns have been converted from old farm buildings to a high standard by local Dart Developments which is renowned for its sympathetic building restoration. The remaining dwellings are Bramley and Russet, and prices start from £365,000.
Bramley is a large barn with accommodation over three floors with bright and airy rooms. It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms as well as a guest wc.
Russet is a three-double bedroom barn with a large kitchen/diner and, by making use of the huge vaulted ceiling, the developers have produced a cosy mezzanine living area above.
Both barns have distant sea views, private gardens and large garages in a separate block.

Surrounded by fields, the development is in a quiet valley leads down to Slapton Sands.
Orchard Coombe Barns are in an area which has been famous for its quality cider production since the 18th century.
Dart Developments has planted an apple orchard behind the garages as a nod to the apples that were produced many years ago. These apples would have been processed at the Cider Press in Slapton, the 14th century village which lies two miles away. The farm labourers working in the orchards in these times would have only been paid a shilling a day but would have up to three pints of cider as well.
