Breakthrough film brings hope
A FREE showing of the acclaimed film My Neighbourhood portraying Palestinian and Israeli peace activists working together in Jerusalem will be shown at Monday's Truro and Falmouth Amnesty International group.
The event at 7pm at Truro's town hall, will also include a discussion about the film which explores the joint work going on to prevent Palestinians being evicted from their homes in East Jerusalem.
Chris Ramsey from the Truro and Falmouth Amnesty International Group said: "The recent events in Israel and Gaza have brought home to everyone the horror of the ongoing conflict and the continuing need for a lasting resolution that brings justice, peace and security to all those living in the area."
