Broken-down car is ticketed
A TRURO businessman was furious when his broken-down car was given a parking ticket.
Christian Diamant, of Qdos bar in New Bridge Street, had to get neighbouring traders to help him push his car into the loading bay.

While he waited for recovery he left a note in the windscreen explaining the car had broken down, also giving the name of his business and his mobile phone number.
But at 2.30pm while his car was unattended, a civil enforcement officer slapped his vehicle with a fine.
"Frustrated" Mr Diamant said: "The note has been blindly disregarded.
"It's bureaucracy gone mad."
Cornwall Council said: "The council is unable to discuss individual cases.
"The advice is to submit a challenge against a penalty charge notice which can be done online by submitting a penalty charge notice appeal form or by following the instructions with the penalty charge notice."
