Broken leg for lorry driver in Blackawton road crash

Two lorries were in a collision on a road in Devon leaving one of the drivers with a broken leg. The accident involving a DAF 38-tonne HGV and an Isuza 7.5 tonne breakdown lorry happened yesterday at Blackawton near Totnes. It happened at about 9.50am between Norton Park and The Sportsmans Arms. Police closed the road between Dartmouth and Halwell Cross for several hours. One of the drivers, a 37-year-old man from Dartmouth, suffered a broken leg and was flown to Derriford Hospital. The other male driver was unharmed.
