Brothers want to trace history of Mabe's fallen war heroes

TWO brothers are researching the history of Mabe men who gave their lives fighting in the First and Second World Wars.

Richard and Philip Lanc are appealing for information regarding those men named on the village war memorial.

Those from the First World War are A Evans, A Kemp, A Tresidder, A Trevail, N Warren and C Winn.

Philip said: "If you are a relative of one of these servicemen we would love to hear from you and to learn more about them."

The names from the Second World War are TP Burley, CJ Campbell, M Lawrey, MR Medlyn and MJ Tremayne.
