Pupils from Exminster Primary School, pictured above, learned all about how to build a house when they visited a building site recently.
The children visited Linden Homes' Milbury Reach development on the outskirts of Exeter.
Tina Roberts, a teacher from Exminster Primary School, says: "The pupils loved visiting the site. Being able to touch the different type of bricks and insulation makes much more of an impact on them than just hearing about it in the classroom."
Robert Baker, project manager for Linden Homes' Milbury Reach development, said: "We were thrilled to have the children visit. Their enthusiasm is infectious."
