Burglars stole wedding rings from elderly woman in Looe
Police are appealing for information after burglars stole two wedding bands and a diamond engagement ring from an elderly woman in Looe.
The woman who is in her 80s returned to her home in Brentfields to find that burglars had searched through her belongings and stolen the rings.

Police said the offenders forced open the back door of the property in morning of Tuesday January 15.

One of the wedding bands contains an unusual blue stone.
Police are appealing to anyone who has information about the burglary which happened between 9.40am and noon.
They are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have been offered the jewellery for sale or may know of its whereabouts.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting crime reference BE/13/32.
