Burglars target Par holiday caravans

POLICE are appealing for information after a spate of holiday caravan burglaries broke out in Par.

A total of six caravans at Par Sands Holiday Park were targeted overnight last Monday.

Items stolen from five separate caravans were a JVC 28in flat screen television, Samsung 55in flat screen television, 22inch flat screen television, 40in Samsung television and LG 42in flat screen television.

A sixth caravan had a 40in Samsung HD television stolen as well as a Free Sat recording box and stereo system.

Inspector Stuart Gibbons said police believed this is linked to a similar incident at Hayle where televisions were stolen from holiday caravans.

"I would advise people not to leave anything of real value in them while unoccupied," he said.
