A burst water pipe in the early hours of this morning caused a section of Royal Royal Cornwall Hospital to flood.
Around 18 firefighters were called to a basement room at Treliske in Truro at around 4.45am after a water pipe containing boiling hot water burst..
Upon arrival, crews said the water had caused flooding in the basement and the water had spread to the main hospital building.
