Buses replace trains between Penzance and St Erth due to flooding
Trains between Penzance and St Erth have been replaced with buses today due to flooding and storm damage.
First Great Western said the line has been closed due to flooding at Penzance station and damage caused to signalling equipment by the recent storms.
Other mainline services in Cornwall are operating normally between Plymouth and St Erth, with coaches providing travel between Penzance and St Erth.
Trains between Liskeard and Looe have also been suspended due to flooding.
