HENDRA Holiday Park in Newquay will be filled with families and Fords on Sunday as the Classic Ford Show comes to town.

Hosted by the Duchy Capri Club, there will be cars galore, including a show and shine competition, for Ford fans while families can enjoy live music, high energy performances, and children's entertainment.

Mark Roberts, of the Duchy Capri Club, says: "There will be trade stands, club stands and loads of Classic Fords.

"Live bands High Voltage and This Is Not A Drill will be performing and there will be shows by Funky Feet Dance School and Su Han Ryu Karate. For the kids we have Bubbles and Splash, Stig Racing, and Kernow Party Karts."

The event is being held in support of Children's Hospice South West's Precious Lives Appeal to help build a children's hospice in Cornwall.

Matt Way, Hendra Park manager, said: "We are very excited about the Classic Ford Show as the huge amount of cars, traders, food, and live music is going to make this a great event for holidaymakers and locals to enjoy while at the same time raising money for a cause that's very close to our hearts here at Hendra."

Mary Murfin, Children's Hospice South West community fundraiser, said: "We hope to see loads of Fords and families motoring over to Hendra for this fantastic day out in support of our Precious Lives Appeal. There will be something for everyone so gear up for a great day!"

Camping is available at Hendra from noon on Friday, including the use of Hendra's facilities for the weekend.
