Camborne badminton girls are the best in the south west

A group of girls from Camborne Science and International Academy have become the first ever Key Stage 3 team to make it through to the Centre Parcs badminton national schools championships final.

Kellen Moore, Amy Polglase, Ellie Watkinson and Amelia Burrell had to battle through three rounds of increasingly competition to earn their place at the final.

They are now ranked among the top eight teams in the country in their age group.

The next round takes place on April 20 at Centre Parcs, Sherwood Forest.
