Campaign to take baby Bailey home
A CAMPAIGN has been launched to enable baby Bailey Buckley's parents to take him home to live his final months with them.
Born with no pulmonary artery in his heart and other complications, doctors say there is no operation that can save the youngster's life.
Leah Lucas and Anthony Buckley, of Illogan, near Redruth, have been living in a single room of a Ronald McDonald charity home at Bristol since he was born eight months ago.
He is fed through a tube and the couple have been told if they can get him to eat, they will be able to take him home.

But they would need to stay near the hospital, and as neither is working are unable to find accommodation.
Leah's mum Maria Lucas, of Falmouth, said: "They want to be able to enjoy as much time as they can with him but they are in a vicious circle.
"They are struggling. To look at pictures of Bailey you wouldn't think anything is wrong, but when he gives up, he gives up."
Leanne Hoskin has set up a fundraising account to get six months' rent and is asking members of the Wish Upon A Star – Bailey Button Facebook page to donate £1 to £2 and ask their friends to do so.
"The only way we can think for them to get a property is to have say six months' rent up-front," she said.
"If Bailey continues to prove everyone wrong and is the fighter he has shown us he is, then what stands between him and his family's dream of living in their own home is funds.
"We can easily raise this money quickly with donations."
