Cancer charity fair sets new funds record
An estimated £27,000 has been raised to help cancer sufferers in Cornwall.
The two-day Cornwall Macmillan Christmas Fair held at Newquay's Hotel Bristol last month smashed all previous records with its fundraising efforts.
The impressive amount brings the total raised by the Macmillan Christmas Fair over the last two decades to just under £390,000.
Visitors stocked up on traditional produce and decorative pieces from a mix of stallholders. Some 15% of all stallholder takings was poured into the charity's funds.
