Hart Care Nursing & Residential Care Home (formally Ravenscroft Care Home) is a care home for elderly people in Yelverton, Devon.

Hart Care Ltd purchased Ravenscroft Care Home at the end of November 2010, and has made many changes and improvements to the running and decor of the home.

Some of the improvements already in place include weekly physiotherapy visits, regular activities for residents, a new cinema room for weekly film viewings, a wider variety of food on the menu and refurbishment to many parts of the care home.

The changes to the care home have created some very encouraging comments from residents, their family, health professional and members of staff and have also resulted in some excellent referrals and recommendations.

The new owners Richard and Stephen Hart have three other care homes and have 20 years experience between them in running successful care homes.

We care for clients who have different needs and now require assistance to maintain a good quality of life while embracing another chapter in their lives.

The care home is in the Dartmoor National Park where we have our own established attractive garden and large pond as well as some outstanding views over the moors.

We have a fully qualified team of nurses and staff who make our residents stay very comfortable and enjoyable, with a 2* good grading with the Care Quality Commission. Our aims are to continue to improve and provide the best service around.
