Carol service
SIR James Smith's Community School, Camelford, held its first carol service at Lanteglos Church on Tuesday, December 16. All year seven students and their parents were invited and the church was full. Rev Jim Benton-Evans welcomed everyone to the service, which included a packed programme of carols. Students contributed to music and drama performances and helped to decorate the church. Several members of staff read poems and readings and mulled wine and mince pies were enjoyed at the end. Jan Man, the school's leader of music, said the event had been so successful it would become an annual feature. David Flower
