Cars destroyed by early hours blaze
A fire wrecked two cars parked close to each other yesterday morning.
The fire service was called to Warberry Road, Ellacombe, in Torquay at 1.30am after receiving calls about the blaze.
One crew from the town's fire station attended the scene but was forced to request backup.
Firefighters found one car well alight and believed the flames were in danger of spreading to a nearby property.
