Cash box suspect arrested in Hayle
Police in Penzance have arrested a man who allegedly stole a cash box from a security guard this morning.
The incident happened at around 10.40am in Market Jew Street.
Police said the suspect is believed to have left the scene in a dark coloured Audi.
A spokesman said: "Following searches by officers in the area we located a vehicle matching the description near Foundry Square in Hayle and subsequently detained a man.

"A second man left the scene and officers are continuing their search."
There is no description of the second suspect and no-one was injured during the incident.
The amount of money in the cash box is not known.
