THIEVES made off with about £160 after ripping out a cash machine in Padstow.

Police are seeking witnesses to the incident which happened at Tesco, Sarah's Lane, between 5pm and 11pm on Sunday, January 31.

A police spokesman said: "The right hand side of the machine was ripped out and approximately £160 cash was stolen. The machine was due to be emptied."
