Casualty cut free from vehicle after crash on A30
A casualty had to be cut free from a vehicle following a crash on the A30 in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on the A30 between Chiverton Cross and Scorrier at around 11pm.

The road was closed for around six hours while firefighters from Camborne freed one male casualty from a vehicle.
Crews used crash rescue equipment and managed to extract the trapped man by cutting the roof off the vehicle at around 2.20pm.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance. At this stage, his condition is not known.
Fire crews made the vehicles and scene safe.
Police confirmed the road was reopened by 5.20am.
