Charity puts up the bunting to mark food harvest
The great British Harvest Festival was celebrated in true style by one Westcountry charity with a day filled with attractions.
The Dame Hannah Rogers Trust, affectionately known as Hannahs, put up the bunting on Saturday to mark the first harvest of its food horticulture project. For more than 200 years, Hannahs has been enriching the lives of children, young people and adults who have a range of disabilities.

It has two sites – one at Seale-Hayne, near Newton Abbot, and the other at Ivybridge, Devon.
Saturday saw a day of activities at Seale-Hayne with bands and family activities.

Bands included The Scribes, Land of the Giants, Billy Bottle and The Magic Bus.
Art, craft, a festival feast of puppets and dancing kept visitors occupied for hours.
The fun does not stop there because on Saturday, September 29, the charity will be holding a family fun day at Seale-Hayne from 10am–4pm, with free entry.
Among other delights, visitors will be able to test their head for heights on a climbing wall.
Laser quest and a treasure hunt are also on the menu.
