Charity trustee pleads not guilty to theft charges
A woman has appeared in court to deny stealing thousands of pounds from an animal charity where she worked.
Sally Elizabeth Moore, 56, had been a trustee and receptionist at Cornwall Animal and Ambulance Hospital Trust in Cornwall. It is claimed she stole £5,798 from the charity based at Treleigh, Redruth, between July 31 and October 1 last year.

Yesterday (thursday) Moore of Trefusis Road, Redruth, stood in the dock at Truro Magistrates’ Court. She entered a not guilty plea to the single charge.
Magistrates adjourned the case until March 22 when Moore will attend a committal hearing before the matter is sent to Truro Crown Court. She was released from the dock on conditional bail until her next court appearance.
